Relax, Unwind, Enjoy
Spend your days lounging by the pool, exploring nearby villages, or sharing a drink at the on site bar-restaurant, Oasis, as the sun sets.
From the first “bonjour” to your last “à bientôt,” our goal is to make you feel welcome, relaxed, and part of the La Raudière family.
Discover the Area — Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The surrounding region is a fantastic place to explore — there’s something for everyone just around the corner.
For the active types: karting, horse riding, canoeing, golf, walking, and cycling.
For the explorers: visit the châteaux, restaurants, and shops in Saumur, Angers, Brissac Quincé, and Montreuil-Bellay.
The nearest towns, Vihiers and Argenton, both around 10 km away, have everything you need — post offices, bakers, banks, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. Even closer are the villages of St Paul du Bois and St Maurice Etusson, each with a bar, shop, or bakery for the essentials.
Wine, Food & French Life
You’re right in the heart of Anjou wine country, where tasting the local rosés, fruity whites, and light reds is practically a local tradition. Around Saumur, you’ll also find some of France’s best sparkling wines.
Nearly every weekend in summer there’s a fête or local market, from live music to the “Fête de la Moule” in July — where you can join the locals for moules-frites, a glass of wine, and a good dose of French village life.
